The Blue Fish Inn Reservations Information
  • A minimum of one night's deposit by credit card or personal check is required for room reservations.
  • Personal checks accepted for deposits ONLY and must be received within 10 days of placing a reservation. Personal checks will NOT be accepted at the time of check-in.
  • Full balance is due upon arrival, payable in cash, credit card or traveler's checks.
  • Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
  • Valid Driver's license, license plate number and major credit card are required for registration. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Off-Season Weekend reservations 2 night minimum stay required.
  • 3 Night minimum stay at peak times required.
  • Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends: minimum stay of 3 nights.
  • Deposits are non-transferable.
  • Reservations confirmed only with a required non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of one night's rent, which is applied to the last day of reservation.
  • Confirmed reservations will be held only until 5 PM on scheduled date of arrival, unless late check-in arrangements have been made.
  • Check-In Time: Normally after 3:00 PM, however, if your assigned room is ready earlier, we will make the room available to you.
  • Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM. NO EXCEPTIONS. (We do offer extended outdoor facility usage when requested. An additional amount of $5.00 per person for the day is required and must be paid in advance). Showering and changing facilities are available to extended outdoor usage; however, you will be required to MOVE YOUR CAR to off street parking.
  • Late Arrival / Early Departure and or inclement Weather Cancellations: Sorry NO REFUNDS or CREDIT for unused room nights or services will be given in the case of a late arrival or early departure or cancellation due to inclement weather.
  • Quoted Rates apply to confirmed reservations made at least 14 days prior to arrival, and secured by a deposit; otherwise rates are subject to change.
  • Unconfirmed rates are subject to change without notice.
  • Additional Persons - $25.00 per person per night, includes complimentary continental breakfast in season.
  • Pet Friendly Rules see Policy below.
  • All rooms are NON-SMOKING This policy is STRICTLY enforced (If anyone is caught smoking in the rooms or any residual effects are found from smoking an automatic $200.00 fee will be charged to your credit card to ensure clean up and smoke residue removal.)
  • Parking Available on site for one car only per unit.

To ensure the freshest environment for all of our guests, all rooms and common areas are non-smoking. For the enjoyment of all of our guests the Pool area is strictly a non-smoking area. Cigar and Pipe smoking are discouraged in the outdoor permitted areas and will be restricted if complaints from the guests are registered with management. Any and all smoking is limited to the veranda ash trays and smoking containers provided. PLEASE do not throw cigarette butts on the grounds, parking lot etc.

All rooms are subject to NJ state tax and NJ local room tax.

The Blue Fish Inn Cancellation Policy

In the interest of good hospitality and customer relations we understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. We often try to reschedule cancellations off-season if we can re-rent the room. We absolutely cannot reschedule on a weekend or prime season.

  • Please remember ALL deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. There will be no refund for a cancellation made within 14 days of arrival.
  • Cancellations made prior to TWO WEEKS of your arrival will receive a return of deposit in the form of a gift certificate, less $25.00 for processing.

The Blue Fish Inn Pet Friendly Information
  • A $25.00 fee per pet per night (2 pets max) in addition to the hotel's nightly rate applies.
  • Required prior to occupancy is a refundable after a clear inspection a CASH $200.00 Pet security deposit in addition to a credit card impression.
  • Pets are NOT permitted in common areas (lobby, pool area, picnic area).
  • Leashes are required at all times while on the motel facility.
  • Designated Pet area for your pet's bathroom needs provided and a strict clean up policy for pet's waste and disposal of same will be required and strictly enforced.
  • House Keeping WILL NOT enter a room with a pet until the following has occurred. A strictly enforced time for maid service will be provided at 11:00 AM daily. You MUST have your pet crated or removed from the room and you must inform the staff prior to 11:00 AM that your pet has been secured prior to their entering your unit.
  • Pet sitting is NOT available.
  • Special care is taken to service our pet friendly rooms if you are allergic to some pet but not others, there still may be an allergic factor to consider (Refunds will NOT be given for an allergic reaction).

Pricing for Unit Damages Caused by a Pet
  • In-Room Carpet Shampooing: $100.00
  • Bedspread Replacement: $150.00
  • Window Treatment Damages: Full Cost Replacement
  • Carpet Damages: Full Replacement Cost
